GARMIN AIS™ 600 Blackbox Transceiver
Add security and reliability to your boat with the Garmin AIS 600 transceiver. The AIS transceiver allows you to receive AIS data and transmit information about your boat to other boaters in the area.
Know Your Surroundings
The AIS 600 helps prevent collisions by allowing you to monitor and contact everyone with an MMSI number in the same area. You can stay in touch with other boaters in the area or track boats on the same course. Sharing information with other boats improves safety on open waters. The AIS 600 also uses ClearTrack™ technology, ensuring no interference in AIS traffic even when the VHF radio is on. Additionally, the AIS 600 can connect to your Garmin chartplotter and VHF radio via NMEA 2000®. This allows you to establish contact with any MMSI location directly from the chartplotter by selecting Call with Radio.
Easy to Install
The AIS 600 is NMEA 2000 certified. It’s easy to add to your Garmin device network. Once the AIS 600 is installed, it’s controlled from your chartplotter screen. You have all the necessary information right in front of you and can make decisions with confidence. Additionally, the AIS 600 includes a built-in active splitter that allows one VHF antenna to be used with both the AIS 600 and VHF radio without signal loss.
