Garmin is the first to introduce two Panoptix sonar modes on the same sonar transducer. The Panoptix sonar transducer is something you’ve never seen in the water before. It allows you to see around and under your boat in real-time up to 90 meters away.

Not just sonar, but Panoptix sonar

Panoptix brings a completely new perspective to fishing. Other sounders only show prey that the transducer has already passed. The boat must be moving for the sonar to get images of the prey. So everything on screen is technically history. With Panoptix LiveVü Forward and LiveVü Down, the boat can be moving or stationary. You see underwater events in real-time, regardless of your electric motor’s direction.
