It is necessary for the exact reflection of data echo of location in the cases of different trim of boat on a stern or on her nose. For the correct reflection of data of transducer must be strictly in parallel to the water smooth surface (to horizon). Thus, almost all manufacturers of echolocation equipment recommend installing their transducers. The reflected in this case signal got to them will most correctly represent information on the screen of your device!

In the basic kit for connecting the regulator to the control panel or remote button, a 2 meter cable is used. (tiller version) If your connection length exceeds 2 meters, then you will need to purchase an extension cable separately. Its length is 4 meters. And in this case, your total installation length is 6 meters. This length is sufficient for installation on the control console of almost any boat up to 7 meters long if the console is installed no further than the middle of the boat.

Therefore it is very important to obtain the correct angle of slope of transducer!

Boat depending on the amount of passengers, load placed on it, and also his weight and place of placing, yields to the longitudinal axial heel that in turn, can be directed both in nasal part and in feed part of boat. In investigation what the regularly set sensor in different situations not always represents information correctly.

Our device is sent exactly to that, to have the opportunity of remote electronic regulation of angle of slope of transducer.

During the protracted speed transitions, and also during the stand of boat, or in case, options of boat on a gun-carriage, you can heave up transducer on a maxheight practically in parallel to the stern of boat and to clean unnecessary resistance of sensor of sonic depth finder the same at water, to prevent becoming overgrown with transducer water-plants during a stand, and also to prevent breakage of sensor at a collision with water barriers or bottom of reservoir at going of boat a stern near a bank and on shoal.

Principle of operation of electric trim tabs is as follows: when a motorboat is moving through water, the lift force generated during movement of the boat can be adjusted by raising and lowering either one or both trim tabs. Selection of proper trim tab inclination angle by pressing the control keys allows to prevent the boat from leaning to one of its sides, as well as to eliminate possible trim by stern.

Before proceeding with mounting of the trim tabs, make sure that the distance from the lower trim tab attachment point to the upper edge of the upper actuator bracket is at least 355 mm – otherwise it is not possible to install these trim tabs on your boat.

At the moment, our company produces 3 trim tab versions for motorboats of different length.

Option 1.
For powerboats with a length of 4-6 m

Option 2.
For powerboats with a length of 4.8-7.5 m

Option 3.
For powerboats with a length of 6.4-9 m

The trim tabs are operated by 2 key switches. You can adjust tilt of the boat as follows: – when you press both keys switches DOWN when the motorboat moves in water, the bow goes down, so that the boat easily comes into the hydroplaning mode; – when you press both UP keys switches, the bow rises and effect of the trim tabs declines; – if the boat heels to starboard (right), level it by holding the right key switch pressed DOWN until the boat gets levelled and then set the key to neutral position and thereby fix the trim tab position. If the boat heels to the port side (left), level it by holding the left key switch pressed DOWN until the boat gets levelled and then set the key switch to neutral position.

We recommend placing both trim tabs to lower position by pressing both key switches DOWN when starting motion of the boat. Trim tabs will create the lift force at starting, and your boat will quickly reach the planing speed. As soon as the motorboat starts motion, lift both trim tabs up by pressing both key switches UP. Depending on the boat loading, you may not need to lift the trim tabs to the uppermost position but leave them lowered to a certain extent to give a smooth and comfortable ride; in such a case, set both key switches to neutral middle position at the right moment to fix the trim tabs in the required travelling position.

If you notice that the boat heels to on one of the sides, press the key switch of side to which the boat trims DOWN. I.e. if the boat heels to starboard (right) – press the right key switch, and if the boat heels to the port side (left) – press the left key switch. Control levelling of the boat as you hold the key switch pressed DOWN and the trim tab goes down. As soon as the boat gets levelled, set the key switch to neutral position to fix the trim tab in the required travelling position and continue riding the boat.

When you reach the mooring area, press both control key switches up to move the trim tabs to the neutral upper position. This is especially important when loading your boat onto a trailer. Failure to do this may result in damage to the trim tabs, making them inoperable. Follow the same operation procedure at each boat ride.

Block and control panel for hydraulic lift for outboard motor from STRONGER. This is a system that allows you to control the elevator with the ability to fully raise and lower it using special buttons. There is also the possibility of step-by-step elevator control. When you press the up or down button, the lifting step will be about 2 cm. And finally, the most important function is the ability to remember your favorite position. So how does it all work?

System tune-up:

At the moment of entering the water and the future start of the boat, you lower the elevator to the lowest position and start the boat. Once your boat is on the planing plane, you can begin adjusting the engine lift in steps. But you are no longer adding speed to your boat.

With each press of the up button, your motor will begin to rise 2 cm. At the moment of raising, you should look at the tachometer of your motor; with each rise, the engine speed will begin to increase, and the speed of the boat will begin to increase.

At some stage of adjustment, after the next stepwise increase in the engine, you will notice that the speed has stopped growing, or there is a drop. This means that you have reached the maximum position of the screw of your motor and in the future to achieve maximum efficiency you need to go back a step.

You press the down button and your motor will go down 1 step. This will be your favorite position in the future. Then you press the “M” button, hold it down for 3 seconds, after which the panel will flash. This will be a signal to you that your favorite position has been saved in the non-volatile memory of the device.

In the future, after the boat reaches the glider, you can immediately press the “M” button and your motor will take the favorite position that you saved earlier.

After you have finished your stay on the water, you need to lower the elevator to its lowest position. Only in this position will you be able to transport your boat to a further mooring location. Any other position of the motor lift is not permitted during transport!
